Dear Friend of i-SAFE,
i-SAFE is pleased to unveil a powerful new tool in
the fight to protect our
youths online experience: the i-Parent Toolkit
CD. This dynamic program
contains all the elements necessary to conduct i-Parent
Programs on
important topics such as Cyber Predators, Cyber Bullying,
and Cyber
Security. These self-contained programs are packaged
as scripted PowerPoint®
presentations, complete with videos. Inside the CD
is a Training program
that is used for the purposes of preparing parents
and parent advocates to
participate in an i-Parent Board. Easy to use, the
i-Parent Toolkit CD
provides the resources necessary to recruit other
parents and parent
advocates to promote Internet safety.
The i-Parent Program thrives
only through the energetic efforts of
volunteers such as yourself working together as an
i-Parent Board. Acting as
a team, i-Parent Boards plan and promote the proven
Internet safety
activities described in the i-Parent Toolkit. An i-Parent
Board can consist
of one person or a local group of parents and parent
advocates that choose
to adopt Internet safety education as a special project.
i-Parent Board
members may be part of an existing parent-teacher
or community-based
organization or merely individuals concerned about
Internet safety within
their school or community.
A complimentary
i-Parent Toolkit CD will be mailed to you after you
submit
an Implementation Plan for a Parent Event. To submit
an Implementation Plan,
you will need to log in at i-SAFE's web site at http://www.isafe.org.
If
you're not registered yet, please do so at this time.
Then, on the home page
you will see a section titled Quick Links.
Under this heading youll see
Education Resources and under this, Implementation
Plan. Click on

select i-Parent Program. Upon
submitting a completed form you will be shipped the
i-Parent Toolkit CD.
Become a participant in the i-Parent Campaign and
join the growing movement
of parents and parent advocates around the globe.
If I can assist you
further in becoming involved with the i-Parent Campaign,
please do not
hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
Kathleen Palker
